That’s the day that the words “I absolutely love her” appeared in my journal.
I didn’t fall in love with you, I rose in love with you. It started on Sunday, October 23rd, 2022. On that day you shared this from Noah Webster’s 1828 dictionary:
friend
[frend] noun
One who is attached to another by affection; one who entertains for another sentiments of esteem, respect, and affection, which lead him to desire his company, and to seek to promote his happiness and prosperity.
Love is built upon a foundation of genuine friendship. The start of my love began as our friendship grew. I’ve cherished every step of our friendship together. Sharing our mutual love for Christ and His gospel. Holding hands together, while hiking and walking, enjoying the beauty of His creation. The mutual love of books, and learning. Sharing stories and appreciation for kids and family. Listening to magnificent music being performed. Enjoying driving, and eating in the car, while listening to the rain. The many joys of Winnie the Pooh. The dirt on noses after gardening. The pleasure of homemade waffles. Grocery shopping for tasty foods. The sitting together in a secret garden. A tender embrace on a rooftop during a sunset and another after a beautiful trail. So many moments.
My definition of love is this:
To joyfully desire to open my personal, private and daily life to my best friend, being with her in ALL things, to become like Christ together.
Angie, I love you
